application | piperazine-N,N-bis (2-hydroxyethanesulfonic acid) sodium salt piperazine ring with sulfonic acid group, chemical and structural characteristics determine the complete dissociation of piperazine-N,N-bis (2-hydroxyethanesulfonic acid) sodium salt in water, this is attributed to its osmotic driving principle, which is conducive to the generation of high osmotic pressure. At the same time, when the sodium salt of piperazine-N,N-bis (2-hydroxyethanesulfonic acid) is used as the forward osmotic absorption solute, in view of its three-dimensional configuration, minimal reverse solute diffusion can be achieved. These advantages demonstrate the applicability and good performance of piperazine-N,N-bis (2-hydroxyethanesulfonic acid) sodium salt as a forward osmosis desalination agent. Crucially, piperazine-N,N-bis (2-hydroxyethanesulfonic acid) sodium salts attract solutes while producing high positive permeation water fluxes, while negative solute diffusion is negligible, thus verifying their applicability and potential. |
preparation | piperazine-N,N-bis (2-hydroxyethanesulfonic acid) sodium salt (P-2SO3-2Na) was prepared as follows: piperazine (2.15g,25mmol) was dissolved in 20mLDI water. Then ClCH2CH2SO3Na(9.23g,50mmol) and NaOH(1.60g,50mmol) were added sequentially. The resulting solution was continuously stirred overnight at 40°C. Form a transparent solution. The products were obtained by precipitation from cold ethanol and purified from H2O/EtOH. After drying, the white powder piperazine-N,N-bis (2-hydroxyethanesulfonic acid) sodium salt was collected (yield> 99%). |
